PUTERS!
I have just spent most of my day trying to fix this dang puter. But restoring the HD did the trick. I will never, ever, use Nortons virus (or anything for that matter) again. I am now able to get all my email again. Going back and forth between my computer and my Mothers has been, well, a real pain in the ass! Now I just have to install about a dozen more programs, and search for a few I forgot to copy on disc (daaaaaaaa) and I will be all set! I just hope I can find the spell check for firefox. I had a heck of a time finding it and getting it to install the last time.
All that must wait I am afaid. I must get Angus’s shirts ironed, and the carpet in the dining room steam cleaned. My mothers stupid cats keep, peeing, puking, and shitting every place in there. And this is not something new! I am really beginning to really not like cats.
