HOW LOW DO YOU GO?
No I am not talking about the smoking. It has been 22 1/2 hours, exactly, this second. No one is dead, yet. I have been doing ok so far. I haven’t begged anyone for a cigarette, yet. Though I have to admit I had thoughts of getting some on my way back from the interview.
That would be what the tittle is about. The interview. So far I have filled out the application, attached my resume to it and dropped it off. Got a call to come in and do a computer survey. Done. Got a call back to set up a time and date to come in for an interview. After a week of playing telephone tag, we set it on today. Went well actually. But now I have to wait until Friday for the manager to finish all the interviews, if I am one of the people she likes she will pass me on to someone else to do a interview. If that person likes me I get passed on yet again to someone else. We are talking a job that I learned I will not get any more than $7.00 an hour to start, we are talking PAYLESS SHOES people!
I applied there because I figured it would be quick and easy, some fast cash until I could find a REAL job. Holy cow, this is almost comical. (I want a cig, and just went to reach for one lol) I will continue looking. Hopefully I will find something before I even have to go in for the third freaking time, for a job at PAYLESS.
