BEWARE,BOYFRIEND RANT
One would think one would be very grateful if their girlfriend trekked out in the middle of a snow storm to get them a pack of cigarettes and, some cash so they could go out drinking with some buddies after work, wouldn’t they? Yes, I thought so too! But I guess that is just part of my dream world.
In reality, this is how it goes. Boyfriend asks girlfriend before he leaves for work to get some cash and a pack of cigs and drop them off at work for him. (No, he is not that demanding, well then again, we don’t have a bank account yet, so we are using my mothers. The reason we don’t have one is because, he let his license expire. We have to wait until Friday until he can get it renewed) Sure no problem, its only coming down really fast and girlfriend doesn’t have snow tires! Mother spent the night else where,so they have to wait for her to go to her bank and get said money. So we are looking at lunch time she tells him. Fine, what choice does he have. He has the choice to call her twice before noon time and ask when girlfriend is going to get there, thats what! Mother decides at oh, about 1PM, that she really doesn’t want to go out in this lovely snow we are getting. So said girlfriend goes to fetch ATM card and goes herself. But not before one more call from the boyfriend wondering when she is going to get there. He is so sweet calling her that many times in one day, isn’t he!
So the girlfriend does her good deed, calls him at work when she is almost there. His response on the phone is, he can’t do this right now or talk, he is with a client. Fine, can I drop them in side she asks? What ever, he can’t talk, he responds. She quickly ask were to go to drop them. He responds, he can’t talk, and ends the call. WTF she thinks. So since she is almost there she figures she will find him and get them to him. Just her luck he is right inside the door with his client. She sneaks up behind him and slips them in his pocket so she doesn’t have to interrupt the conversation (she is also pretty pissed) He just looks at her and says, what are you doing? And turns right back to the client and starts talking. Nope, no thank you or anything. So girlfriend thanks him and says bye. She makes her way back home. Slipping and sliding her way as it is now getting to a more wet frozen snow at this point.
I think I like my dream world better. When the boyfriend would take 30 seconds to tell the girlfriend were to drop them and thank her right then.

*UPDATE: Boyfriend called girlfriend to thank her and, apologize for his rudeness. He also decides that maybe from her tone that he will just come home after work in stead of going out with the boys from work.
Girlfriend says, what ever, call when you decide. Ends call. But more gracefully than boyfriend did earlier.
