Baby's garden. Newburyport
I’ve noticed a trend in decorating the graves of children in recent years. This is one of the more elaborate. Despite its pretty and inviting look, it seems to amplify the parents’ grief. There is really nothing quite so sad as a lost child. Cemeteries are filled with such stories, from long ago to now. The only difference now is that no one is left to care for the children’s markers of the two centuries past.
