The weather persons are learning how to hedge their bets. They were a little off their mark in the last two storms. Each was only supposed to give us a small amount of snow. The last one, in particular, was only supposed to give us three or four inches, max. We ended up with over a foot. With a solid layer of ice underneath it all.

So now we have another advisory. First we were supposed to get clobbered. Then, maybe not so much. Now, maybe we’ll get clobbered with an ice storm, but maybe not until daybreak. I guess we’ll get what we get when we get it.

Meanwhile, hopes are raised for another snow day. Not holding my breath on this one. But I wasn’t holding it for a snow day last week either. Yet we got one. Life in winter is an adventure.
