Time Zone Confusion

My internal clock is all confused. Now that Daylight Saving Time is back, here in the Eastern Time Zone, my internal clock has readjusted itself to Central Standard Time. I don’t understand it, but it’s working out well.

Long about 10:30 PM, I’m drop dead tired. And long about 5:00AM I’m wide awake and ready to go. Nobody else in the house is on the same schedule. The dogs look at me as if I’m nuts and the cats just yawn and say, “Whatever, just be quiet.”

There is something to be said for it—two hours of quiet time before the rest of the household kicks into gear. But I kind of doubt that it will last. Or will it?
