On my appointed rounds this evening I passed by a new development with new construction still in progress. The road leading into it was called Fatherland Drive. Servin’ up a little fascism with the new digs? That kinda hit me like a thunderbolt. Fatherland is, undeniably, an odd choice of name given its disturbing and unsavory history.
