They're back already??

Standing by the kitchen sink, I looked out the window and noticed a lot of bird activity going on in the sumacs. Couldn’t be, I thought. But it is. The robins are back. This surely is the earliest I’ve ever seen robins show up. Must be our internal almanacs agree that spring will be early this year. Either that or they’re in for a world of hurt. But I’d rather be optimistic about this.
