Stealth something or other

I just returned from a run to the post office to pick up my mail. Boy, am I baffled.

One of the items in my post box was a business sized envelope with a verse of scripture printed across the back: Let us give thanks to the Lord for His priceless gifts. 2 Corinthians 9:15

Since the envelope was addressed to our family in red and green ink, I assumed it was a belated Christmas card. So far so good.

Upon opening the envelope, however, I found two photographs of the lad receiving one of his Cross Country awards. Pasted to the front of the first photograph was a crudely cut out heart with “God loves you, so do I and pray this brings you a :heart:  + inspiration.”

It is unsigned. No idea who it is from.

As I said, baffled.
