Snowy

Yesterday the first snow of the season began and it forgot to stop. This morning there is a blanket of snow covering everything. It’s beautiful, but I still had to dig the car out to take the lad to the really, really last cross-country meet of the year. They keep winning, so they keep having to go to one more meet. This one is the last meet of the year. The state finals. I hope they win this one, too. I don’t know what it’s doing in Boston today, but I hope they don’t have to run through 6 inches of snow. It sure was fun being the only awake person in the neighborhood digging the car out at 6:30 this morning!

But since it’s snowing and thoughts are now definitely in the winter mode, I was thinking of winter designs and made a few odds and ends yesterday. I finally decided that I like this design and just wanted to simplify it a little. But not before making a background that I like a lot—it’s just too busy for my current blog design.
