Have I ever mentioned that I love Family Guy? Well, I do. The little fellow to the left is Stewie Griffin who has devious plans for world domination. But he’s a funny and wickedly cynical little tyrant. He’s my favorite character.

I’ve been searching for a while for a clip of Stewie doing his Rocketman performance (image at left is from it) and I finally found it yesterday. What I didn’t realize is that his performance was a parody of William Shatner’s performance from back around 1978. (Poor Elton.)

I found that yesterday, too. You have *got* to see it to believe it. It’s so painful that it’s hilarious.

So that put Stewie’s performance into perspective for me and now I love it even more. He so outclasses William Shatner. What a guy. Go watch ‘em both and laugh.
