My new dog, maybe?
This little girl might end up being a part of the family in the next day or so. Depends on if anyone else grabs her first.
I have been approved by the rescue shelter. After a phone interview, they proclaimed that I and my household would be a very good fit for Mackenzie. I still have to produce proof that I own my house, but that’s just details. We’ll see how this comes together...or not. Something about her photo appeals to me in no uncertain terms. More than any of the others I’ve looked at. I hope to meet her in person tomorrow evening. If you’re interested in reading more about her, this is her shelter page.
It’s those big brown eyes and huge smile that got you. I can absolutely see her appeal. How sweet and she looks like a cuddler!!

She is a Corgi/Chihuahua mix. That combo strains my imagination a little bit, but that’s what she is.
Cyn, way back when my little blonde terrier mutt was a young lady, we moved to a new town and attended a church supper. We fortunately discovered that the pastor’s daughter was named Mavis before we told the story about how our blonde terrier mutt came by the same name. ;)
Oh I love her already! Roscoe is a chiwawa, Jack Russel, Corgi mix and he is quite the character! About the same size too!
OH she is so cute. My friend had a Chihuahua when he was in USA. She used to get so scared, that she used to literally hide herself under a table, when the coyotes used to bark in evening.
