Luxury

Friday, 9:12 pm

After a day of tearing all over creation and fighting rush hour traffic, is there anything quite so luxurious as warm blankets, fluffy pillows, a cup of hot chocolate, soft tunes, and a great book? Ahhhhhh. My weary bones are happy.

Shame on me...I forgot to add...a snuggly kitty.

I had a crazy day yesterday too! Now if I could get these weary bones to just sleep past 2AM, that, that would be luxury!

I would add the one thing you have (and probably would like less of) which is the one thing I don’t have and would like at least one day a week..........a house empty of ALL other people!! ;)

Know anyone who wants to buy a 10 room house in the Berkshires, needs some work, but structure is sound, good bones, large rooms, built in the 1800’s on 2+ acres of land??  Woman who was buying it has backed out - apparently is somewhat poorer than she was when she signed the P&S. Hmmmmmmmmmm

cyn, if you can guarantee no snow and temps that never fall below 60, we’re interested. wink

“Feverfew” is the captcha word?  What the heck is that?

Linkmeister, feverfew is an herb, of the chrysanthemum family. It’s a medicinal herb and used sometimes in skin preps to soothe irritated skin. Some folks also swear by it as a headache remedy. I wouldn’t know about that. I like it because it has pretty little daisy flowers, it smells citrusy good, and it grows rampantly where nothing else will. smile

Cyn, if I could buy it, I’d have two acres of my very own snow to shovel. Hot diggity dawg! Sorry your buyer backed out, though. I think a lot of people are poorer than they were a few weeks ago. And getting more so every day.

Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead tonight!! I’m gonna love that whole extra hour of daylight at the end of the day. Whoo!!!

J, all other things being equal, you might just make it to 3AM tonight! We need to enroll you in a sleep clinic!

No, no I didn’t make it. I have serious bags under my eyes today. BC is sick with a temp of 103, and I was up most of the night with him not being able to sleep because he slept most of the day. Sigh.
Did you here the forecast for tonight. Yup, freaking snow. I so can not believe this. Enough already! I want to start building my raised bed for the garden. We bought the seeds and starter tray the other day. This is probably my fault for doing this lol.

Aw come one. A half a foot of snow? Then more snow on Tuesday night? Moderate accumulation? What the heck does that mean? I am not shoveling. It’ll melt in a day or two. This is sap snow. It’ll melt or else.

How’s BC today? Give him a hug for me. Hope he feels better!

I hope that it goes away without having to shovel. But by the looks of it right now, I am going to have to do some.
BC is home sick today. He still has a high temp. Poor thing.
