Itty bitty things
It is...ahem...snowing out. But it’s pretty snow, not the “gonna bury you ha ha ha” kind. So it’s rather enjoyable looking out the window at the lazy flakes. And here you probably thought I’d never say a good word about snow again. But I’m in a great mood anyway because…
The UPS man visited me this morning and left a package on my doorstep. A tiny package even.
These are miniature iHome speakers, small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. Such winsome little things. They hook into my laptop with a USB cord to charge them and there is another cord to hook into the earphones jack. They’ll also fit into iPods and other audio devices (like my tiny television). While the sound isn’t as sumptuous as larger speakers, they produce a hearty and respectable sound. Considering their size, the sound is amazing.
When the lad left for school, he talked me into letting him take my desktop speakers. He had already absconded with my Bose speakers in August. And that left me with zero speakers. I’ll get my Bose speakers back eventually, but a little something would be nice NOW. So...here they are and I am so pleased with them. Not only decent sound, but they are tiny. I love tiny. They go with my house. When I’m finished using them, I can tuck them into the little drawstring bag that came with them.
Today my house is filled with tunes. Makes me want to do some waltzes with my broom. I suppose I should anyway. Everything (and anyone) works better with music.
they are so cute! I can’t get my speakers to work on this laptop for some reason?
And, and, I don’t think any of that sheot falling out of the sky is in any way shape or form, pretty, cute, enjoyable, or lazily falling out there!!! It’s still enough to have to go and shovel LOL.
Oh and the neighbor strikes again. Dang that woman needs to get a life! I had a nice conversation with P today. She is loony. He in a very nice respectful kind of P way pretty much said that lol. Tell ya about it when I talk to you. Sigh.
Yep, they are cute. I’m thoroughly enjoying them, too.
The snow turned out not to be too bad. Only four inches or so. Light fluffy stuff that I can sweep. And starting on Saturday, we’ll have our long delayed thaw. Lots of the snow should melt! Yippee!
One of the blessings in life is having good neighbors. I surely lucked out with M and she apparently feels the same. Wish yours would move!
Waltzing with brooms? Hmm...is a Fantasia remake in the offing?
LOL, well we got a little more than enough, I had to shovel it. Hoping that the ice build up in the driveway will melt over the weekend. I was able to get down to the pavement on the side walks. The driveway is going to take a little work. If I can get out there tomorrow and Sunday and work on it a bit, I might have a chance.
Eh, they’re not going to talk contracts with me unless my broom acquires some magical abilities, Linkmeister. Still waiting… ;)
If you wait until tomorrow, J, the temps are supposed to reach the low 40s. Nearly 50° on Sunday. It’ll all melt by Sunday night. Theoretically, anyway.
