Giddy with happiness!

Friday, 2:14 pm

My washing machine is fixed! Happy, happy, happy!

J and her E came over this morning and off we went to Home Depot to find the proper hoses. I bought two steel mesh hoses that will never explode again. They are installed and I am already doing a load of laundry. I have not enjoyed doing laundry this much in about as long as I can remember. Boy, do I appreciate my washing machine. And E! Who spent half of his day off working in my basement. What a nice, nice guy. Thank you, E!

Happiness is good friends and a working washing machine. No doubt about it.

Idsn’t it simply amazing how much we can miss a properly function washing machine!

He was very glad to help you! And it really only took a few minutes lol. I couldn’t imagine not having a washer for longer than a day!

Yes, Cassie, it’s quite amazing how much we can miss a washing machine. Of all the modern day appliances, my washer is the one I would never, never, never want to be without.

Yeah, I know it only took a couple of minutes to actually fix, J, but including travel time and cruising around the Home Depot aisles looking for the hoses ended up taking half the day. It was a very, very nice thing for him to do.

Now I am going to Tendercrop Farm to see if I can find a large wreath for the front of the house. Hopefully the $150 one at Home Depot yesterday wasn’t a clue about what I can expect to find today. Who in their right mind would spend $150 on a wreath that’ll be nothing but bare dead twigs in another month??!

LOL, That’s it! It was bugging me all day.

I woke up yesterday morning and the name rolled right off my tongue. Ask me again in a couple of days and I’ll forget everything but the Farm part, again. ;)
