The last of the lad’s college applications went out about two weeks ago. The first wave went out in mid-November. Today he received his first response from any of the colleges. Ohio Wesleyan University accepted him and offered a generous four year scholarship. That was very nice news and makes the lad hopeful that his first choice college will come through, too.

OWU was in the lad’s top three picks. So it’s a good start. From my perspective, I like it. It’s a great campus and a really good school.

And his grandma lives there.
