D’ya know what’s really startling? It’s when you decide to go to sleep early and you’ve just drifted off when suddenly someone starts banging on your front door as if the world is just about to end. You and the kitty next to you practically levitate and look around wild eyed, trying to catch your collective bearings. And then discover that there is no one at the door. Kids? Prank? I dunno. Now I’m wide awake. Nuts.
