It's sooo cold!

For a couple of days there, I thought maybe spring was just around the corner. Guess not. It’s frigid this morning - a whole 2°. And the wind is blowing so hard that the house has been shuddering, with the occasional small branch whacking into the back of it. Wind chills are down around 21 below and I have to go outside to get more wood sometime this morning. I’m not looking forward to it one bit. I really hope this is about the last of the really cold weather ‘cuz I’m reaching close to the bottom of the woodpile now. Maybe there’s enough for another two weeks. Maybe a little longer if the days warm up to the low to mid 40s. Here’s hoping.
