It's Cold!

My thermometer on the back porch registers a frigid 5° F (-15° C). I want to tell you that’s cold! Especially with the wind whistling the way it is. I returned, a short while ago, from grocery shopping and filling the car with fuel. In each case, I wasn’t outside for very long, but it was long enough for my ears to get frostbitten.

This arctic blast is just temporary though. Weather persons tell us that we’ll back up in the balmy mid-50s by the week’s end. So much for a white Christmas.
