Firefox skin incompatibility

For the last week, my computer has been misbehaving with frequent brief pauses/freezes in activity and extremely sluggish mouse behavior. I did all the virus and malware testing and got rid of a couple lesser known ones, but operation was still poor. So, I tried to retrace my steps over the last week to see what had been added that might be causing the problem.

Turns out that I upgraded Firefox last week. And downloaded a new Firefox skin. I dumped the new skin and went back to the one I had been using. Voila! Problem solved. Something in the new Firefox skin (AquaFox) was not playing well with others.

Just saying, in case anyone else has been having similar difficulties after a recent Firefox/skin upgrade.
