The US government has formally admitted that inmates have been tortured at Guantanamo Bay and in Iraq, and Afghanistan. That makes all the holier than thou administration rhetoric of the past couple of weeks especially disgusting.

We’ll have to wait until May 2006 for the formal hearings.
