Drowned pansies

A couple of days ago, my pot full of pansies was beautiful. Spectacular, even. The blooms were huge and there were many. They were so cheerful looking that they couldn’t fail to brighten the worst mood. Then it started raining. And raining. And raining. Today, this is what my beautiful pansies look like. I think they’ve had enough ‘weather’ for a while.

If this afternoon’s thunderstorms materialize, I’m going to either bring them in or put something over the top of them. I hope they recover in a couple of days.
