So. Looking critically at my woodpile, this morning, I had to make a decision. Whether to order another cord of wood or have the furnace fixed. I decided, on a wing and a prayer, to have the furnace fixed. Because there is no guarantee on this sort of thing, I may still end the day without a working furnace and still have to get another cord of wood. But I’ll know by sometime this afternoon. Wish me luck.
