Creation Museum

Did you know that there will soon be a Creation Museum and Family Discovery Center opened to the public? Sponsored by Answers in Genesis, a Christian apologetics ministry, the museum site is near Cincinnati, Ohio, just over the border in Petersburg, Kentucky. It is huge, high tech, with a large “Wow! factor.” And it is billed as an alternative to non-Christian Museums of Natural History, plus a whole lot more.

The Creation Museum will proclaim to the world that the Bible is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice and in every area it touches on. This ‘walk through history’ museum will be a wonderful alternative to the evolutionary natural history museums that are turning countless minds against the gospel of Christ and the authority of the Scripture.

That does irritate me on a number of levels. But anyway. It’s being built and, having poked around the website for a considerable amount of time, about all I can say is...whatever. Can’t seem to fight it. Can’t seem to stop it. Nevertheless, it made me queasy. When you stop to think that they are blaming such social ills as racism and child-stealing on evolution, it’s quite a feat of logic.
