Still waiting
And here I thought the storm was almost over. It grew!!
I finally went out and drove through minor street flooding and made my engine light come on. But, intrepid explorer that I am, I made it all the way to Staples where I browsed the aisles for something to ease the misery. And found this.
Another Uni-ball product—the 207 LTD gel pen that writes smoothly and Does Not Smear. At all. The Staples here has them displayed as an introductory offer at $1.99 each. Cool! A brand new pink pen can always make the time pass more quickly and take one’s mind off the rotten weather. Sort of.
The squirrel came back this afternoon. We commiserated and then I put a small helping of sunflower seed in a bowl and placed it out on the deck railing for him. He was very grateful. The seeds will be gone before they have a chance to get too wet. Should have thought of this yesterday. Happy little squirrel.

Are you still looking for your Moleskin notebooks? If so, I think I found some for you--Go here: http://www.copleyflair.com/
I was in the city this weekend and last night walked into Copley Flair which is one of my MOST favorite card stores and they had a display of them along with some really wicked awesome pens. So, thought I would pass along. Went back in today, on lunch break from teaching--was torn between picking up some cards I wanted and staying outside in the pouring rain and watching the Gay Pride Parade. So, did both. Not sure which afforded me the most fun. The parade was crazy!! Rain did not seem to damper their spirits.
OMG! Is that really sunshine I see?
LOL my word is, whatevah!
YES!!! SUNSHINE!!!! I’ve been out in in. So absolutely thrilled that I’ve been rolling in the grass with utter abandon (well, not exactly rolling in it, but....). I’ve been out there doing stuff. Lots of stuff. It’s WONDERFUL!!!
Cyn, you are trying to feed my Moleskine addiction, aren’tcha?
Moleskines and wicked awesome pens in the same store? With stationery? Oh man, that sounds like a day trip coming up. Thanks for the tip...one can never have enough Moleskines or enough sources for obtaining one!
