DINO speech
I voted for a Democrat this last presidential election and I heard that he was elected. I don’t know where he went, but he wasn’t standing up in front of the cadets at West Point tonight. Nope. Sounded like a genuine, bona fide neoconservative. Freedom, freedom, freedom, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11. Barf.
Afghanistan: The boneyard of empires.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

one of the most, maybe THE most, diehard Obama supporters I know went out and tore the bumper stickers with his name on them off of her car after that speech. I am not quite ready to do that, but I sure was not happy.
And on a happier(??) note--it is snowing. Yuk.
Well, I went out tonight to enjoy a iittle of the town’s holiday ambience. Stopped by Agave on State Street for a margarita and quesadilla or two. If you like tequila, that’s the place you want to try. I never knew there were so many different kinds of tequila. Good golly, you almost need to do research before going. Quite tasty. And got to watch the snow fall from the upper storey windows.
Y’know...I’m still not over the snow from last winter. The last thing I want to see is snow. I grumbled and muttered every time I had to walk from place to place tonight. Snow. Wind. Slush. Slippery. I am not in the least interested in snow. Don’t want to see snow until 2011 at the earliest. I am not going to get my wish, am I?
Subsequent to the uninspiring Obama speech last Tuesday, I’ve heard other utterances that have led me to believe that he has been a closet neocon for some time. Or a Bush lite. If I had bumper stickers to rip off, I’d have done so, too.On the other hand, it’s undeniable that he’s better than John and Sarah.
I wasn’t happy about that either.
