LOL. I noticed them when I moved here and was looking for dried cherries to make stuffing for our turkey at thanksgiving. They did in a pinch but are a little too sweet.
I get the impression that they’re more for snacking than baking. Apparently there are orange flavored ones, too. I still can’t quite get over the idea. I mean...why?
What about a grapple? That’s all natural, as I recall. (And kinda tasty as I recall, as well.)
Grape flavored apples? That is not natural. Uh-uh. You know, I sort of hate to be a wet blanket, but apples with apple taste have served mankind for eons. Why must our apples taste like something else? What’s the problem with an apple tasting like an apple or a cranberry tasting like a cranberry? Human beings just can’t stop tampering with nature. It must be hardwired into our genes or something.
