"Breaking bricks with your butt” definitely put a smile on my face.
Yes, that brick breaking skill may come in handy someday or at least get you some free drinks in the right bars.
I found that by sitting wrong at my desk chair I was giving myself all sorts of hip and knee pain. Once I corrected that (thighs parallel to the ground, feet flat on the floor) the pains slowly began to go away.
I feel for you. I’m glad you’re getting resolution.
Well, y’know, a girl needs all the tools she can get.
J, I left out the boring details. It took about 2 weeks to get the appointment. But the diagnosis was pretty straightforward given the symptoms and the scar tissue on the muscle, which is something we still will address. The shot was the logical next step and, so far, so good.
Has your MRI turned up yet? I think I’d be doing some screaming at hospital administration at this point. That’s utterly unacceptable!
OW! Sounds painful. Im glad its better after that awfule shot!!! Gee! So have you developed a better “pacing pace”?
Yep, Annie, it was painful. It gives me a tremendous appreciation for the debilitating effects that pain causes people who live with it on a daily basis. It’s just draining and exhausting.
And yeah, I’m one of those who starts hyperventilating at the sight of a little needle. My life passed before my eyes when I saw this one.
I’m supposed to stop pacing. I dunno though. My legs are are clearly attached to my brain. They must be moving for my brain to work.
I’m trying to cut down and elongate my stride when I simply must pace. That’s a challenge in a teeny tiny house. I’ve gone out walking, though. It felt good.
How are the birdies? Keeping you company? Looks like I am in Germany agan!!! LOL!
I’d like to know how you do that, Annie. World traveler without even leaving your chair. ;)
The birdies are doing great! Lucy has regained her health and is quite an active little birdie. She’s really a sweetie. And Dobby has discovered MUSIC. Boy he likes his tunes, but with a demonstrated preference for bluesy tunes. That’s my birdie!

um what doctor did you see? And how the heck did you get a shot right away. They told me I would have to wait a couple of weeks for a appointment, and I wouldn’t get it on the first visit lol. Yeesh.
I still have not heard from the doc. I know patience is called for when one is seeing a very popular in demand doctor but, come on this is getting ridiculous. I guess in his defense though, the freaking hospital still had not sent a copy of the MRI when I spoke with him a week ago.
Now if only a shot in the behind would make this all go away. I would be sticking that thing in the air soooo freaking fast lol.
Oh and still no new news on the other thing. Dang it.
