I think I know where one is, but I haven’t seen so much as a whisker today.
Oh don’t feel dumb at all - shortly after September when my husband left for his military service the laptop quit connecting to the internet - I tried everything I could think of - and I’ve worked tech support type jobs since 1989! It wasn’t till he came home in March that he figured it out and showed me.
Embarassing.
Completely.
LOL! I’d have gone right around the bend if I’d been deprived of internet that long.
Six hours was long enough. It’s the small things that that defeat us, I guess. Maybe because we’ve been more or less trained to think that anything that goes wrong is hugely complicated to fix (which it usually is...).
I was luckily not without internet - I simply had to run a cable (a 2 foot cable!) from the router to the laptop. Which completely defeats the whole portability option of having a laptop.
