A couple of things......... He only gets a week for spring break? I thought it was a few weeks???? And did you really have to get pink eye NOW? LOL If I look at you I will catch it! Let me know if its under control enough and he is going to be around on Wednesday or Thursday, I might just chance it.
Now in my day: I was on leave from the Navy during the gas lines of 1974 and spent a good portion of every other day (it seemed like, anyway) along the side of the road inching toward the pumps. Surely he could spend a part of his break chopping wood?
Kids today!
Thanks, G. Yup, it’s going to be a fun week.
J, no he doesn’t get a few weeks for spring. Their big holiday is December-January. They get out school in mid-May so that’s the next big vacation.
I seem to be reasonably healed, so don’t hesitate to stop by.
Linkmeister, LOL! Well, give it a couple of years and he may learn the joys of long gas lines, too. And, by the way, I have the saws, just no wood to cut. It would help matters a lot if I had more kindling. Might have to send him up into the woods to scrounge for some. That would thrill him right down to his toes, I’m sure. ;)

Depends on the company he takes along, no? If it’s a she . . .
If that’s the case, I won’t be getting any kindling.
His sweetie is in Scotland and won’t be coming home for such a brief break. At least, I think she’s still his sweetie. I have to catch up on all the latest.
The phone call came in an hour or so ago. The lad should be pulling into the driveway momentarily.

Glad to hear your son is on his way for a visit.
Sorry to hear about the pink eye, hopefully will clear up quickly. I had a bout with this once; I was glad when it cleared up. Sanitizers are a drag but necessary it seems in today’s germy world!!!
Have a great week, G
