Pablo, it’s just unfortunate that Missouri and Massachusetts weren’t plunked down beside each other. I could use about a cord of wood right now and you’d most certainly enjoy my cranberry bread. I enjoy my cranberry bread...much more than I ought to.
Am holding my breath but I think all the snow is gone from my yard except a couple places on the street where the plows really piled it up. I think......and Dusty (the cat) apparently played outside most of the day so the woods must be pretty clear too/ She loves outside, is not thrilled with snow and ice!! Now that it is all gone. I suppose that means there will be more!! Only good thing about that is with the sun so warm (when we see it) it won’t stay around too long. I hope!! ;)
Over the last two days, the snow has pretty much disappeared from my front yard, but the back and side yards are still covered with it. In the spots where the snow is gone, we now have mud. The dormant grass seems to be floating on a sea of it. My feet sink in and leave little indented footprints behind. This, too, shall pass and, before you know it, we’ll be screaming bloody murder about the oppressive heat and humidity and/or non-stop rain (or none at all). We must be hardy souls to put up with this.

I can make space in my freezer if there’s a loaf of bread in it for me. Just let me know.
(Also, that standing offer of free firewood from my forest is still good.)
