Actually, your washing machine isn’t broke either...just the hose. Just fill your machine with a bucket and let the machine do the work. You then will have to add water for the rinse and then guess what...clean clothes.
Poor J. What a rotten day you’ve had. Feel better. I wish I could do more.
Richard, that would be a great solution if I had a water faucet anywhere near the washing machine. I think a good job for a plumber would be to install a utility sink near my washer. Lugging buckets and buckets of water down to the basement just doesn’t seem to thrill me a whole lot. ;)
"Lugging buckets and buckets of water down to the basement”
Worked for Mickey in Fantasia.
I don’t agree with Richard anyway, because the water you put into the machine has to drain out somehow, and with a broken hose…
Didn’t Mickey have some help? Like magic or something? It’s been a while since I’ve seen Fantasia. I wouldn’t mind having some of that kind of help!
No, Richard has the right idea. If ONLY I had a utility sink next to my washer. The water-going-out hose is just fine. It’s the water-coming-in hose that’s...hosed.
Well I was thinking it was the hose going out too LOL. Glad you cleared that one up! E might have to work tomorrow :( I will let you know!
Ahhh, could you run a hose from an outside spigot somehow to fill up the machine?? Or down the stairs from a kitchen faucet?? Or to fill up a bucket or two next to the machine? Unless you only wash in warm water, it could work, just remember to shut off each time so pipes don’t freeze??
Cyn, I am entirely too right brained for that.
Keep your fingers crossed...J’s E is coming over tomorrow to fix it for me. I will not count any chickens before they’re hatched, but I am REALLY excited!!!!

I forgot to ask E last night lol. I will ask him today! Call me when you wake up, I am home. Uhggggggg. Got worse. I am calling the doctor to get a MRI, TODAY! Enough is enough. Work is not happy with me at the moment. I was thinking maybe you could take me? instead of having E take yet another day off work to tend to me.
