Yep, he sounds like a keeper. It’s mail carriers like that who make our lives a little bit easier, less complicated. Once upon a time, I took them for granted. Not anymore. A good mail carrier is worth his/her weight in gold.
It does help that the distance from the door to the mailbox is about 25 feet; if it were half-a-mile, all bets would be off.

Heh. My mailman was just pulling away from my mailbox when I shouted out the door “Hold it!” He stopped, got out of his truck, pulled the incoming mail out of the box and waited for me to hand him the outgoing mail I’d yelled about. He’s a good guy.
