Cider Press Hill

Snowman heaven

Autumn must be in the air because today I received two counted cross-stitch pattern books and I’m dying to get started. It’s too hot in the house tonight and I don’t enjoy needlework when it’s hot and humid. But I came to close to making an exception.

This is the first pattern book and here is the second book. I will be in snowman heaven. Have I ever mentioned that I love snowmen? Especially these kind. Although I like the patterns in the first book better, I decided to start with the picture on the bottom right of the second book’s cover (the words say, “Winter is for the birds"). It’s kind of cute and should whip up fairly quickly. Once I’m finished with it, I’ll be back in the groove. Then I can make more charming little snow people. I don’t know what I’ll do with all of them, but they’ll be fun to make. I suppose I should frame a couple. Perhaps I will.
