Cider Press Hill

Happy dancing

The breezes just picked up bringing intoxicating coolness pouring through the doors and windows. I am so excited!

Today was the second to final day of a major summer festival that our town puts on every year. Each year more people seem to invade the town to shop/eat/mingle. The stream of cars entering town this evening was simply a sight to behold. I don’t know where they stacked the cars. Tonight was the end-of-the-festival fireworks display and it’s usually pretty impressive.

I think I’d rather have boils than go anywhere near downtown during this week, but I do like a good fireworks display. Fortunately, I live on a hill and the fireworks are clearly visible from my bedroom window. So I’ve just spent the past half hour hanging out my window watching. Maybe the most enjoyable part was just closing my window and walking back downstairs after the show was over. smile
