Heya,
Can you not plant a Chamomile lawn?
Grows better than grass, smells better and never needs mowing!

J, there’s a thought. I wonder if doing laundry at the mat saves any energy overall. They are equipped to do massive loads which must use fewer resources than several regular washing machine loads. Not too sure about the dryers, though. I still think hanging stuff outside is the best. I mentioned it to him, by the way, and he said he’d do it if I’d prefer.
Hi Mountainboy. I’d like a lawn of chamomile. And clover and even creeping thyme. But being a denizen of a suburban neighborhood where lawns must be pristine and weed free, I think I need to work into this gradually. A chamomile lawn out in front of the house wouldn’t go over very well, I’m afraid. Although I keep thinking that someone should have the courage to break with tradition so everyone else can see that alternatives to grass can be attractive. I’m just not sure I have the guts to be the one to do it all at once. Gradually with baby steps, though.

LOL. Ya, he should think its cool, and do all he can to keep those charts pretty if he wants to do what you told me yesterday for his future. Oh and with that amount of laundry that was sitting on your living room floor, you might want to slip him a twenty and drop him off at a laundry matte! He would get it done in a couple of hours and save your pretty chart at the same time lol. Tell him it was my idea lol.
