Eclipse

When we look up in the sky and see something like a solar eclipse, we sort of take it for granted that the moon is about the same size as the sun even though we really know that’s not true. If we think about it at all.

There’s a NASA spacecraft out about a million miles from earth that recently took a video of a solar eclipse, but, from it’s vantage point, the moon looks tiny. What a fascinating video. Watch the sun rotate while the moon transits it. Way cool!
