I’m glad you’re finally feeling better! That was a tough one that just didn’t want to give up.
I do hope the lad heals quickly. Would be no fun to go back to school feeling lousy. Besides, he’s still determined to attend that concert in Boston on Thursday night. Tickets bought and all. We’ll see what the doc says.
Considering what the temps were a week ago, today felt like summer. Almost 60 degrees!! How come that feels so warm when my house feels like the arctic circle when it’s 60 degrees inside?!
Poor kid. But if it is residuals from the flu, please remember that anti-biotics are useless, and regularly mal-prescribed, as they are worthless against viral illnesses, and only add to dimunition of the effectiveness of anti-biotics overall. Ask for an anti-viral, or go the route of fluids, rest, or even anti-virals.... Just my unsolicitied 2 cents…
That’s quite alright, dk. Just have to find out what it is first. With the fever and chest pain and the wheezy rattly sound when he breathes, it’s definitely not anything good. We’ll find out Wednesday morning. Meanwhile his step-Mom has him drinking weak tea and orange juice nearly non-stop. It’s helping to loosen the crud in his lungs up a little bit at least.

Oh poor boy! I can totally sympathize! Today is the first day I feel like, human! You my dear are heartier than I when it comes to the temps lol. I was just glad that I wasn’t shivering when I walked out the door to go to the store. Little to cold to open doors or windows for me yet! And tell the lad that I love him to pieces but, if he is sick I am staying far, far away. Sigh, I guess I just won’t get to see him until summer break.
