For energy saving reasons (and for general annoyance), this is the year the US gov’t has decided that Daylight Saving Time (Energy Policy Act of 2005) will be a few weeks earlier than usual - March 11. So. For those of us using Windows operating software, we need to make sure that we have downloaded the up-to-date Microsoft patches and whatever. Because if we don’t, I gather that all sorts of rotten things could/will happen.

If you already regularly download Microsoft updates and have them automatically installed on your computer, you’re all set already.
