I am up and at ‘em at an indecent hour today. Terry is still not feeling well and had to go out nearly every hour last night. I think the worst is past, thank goodness. But when it got to be daylight, I figured I might as well stay up. Now she’s sound asleep.
I am not sure, but I think my house moved closer to the woods during the night.....man that wind is something else--I swear the house is moving!! and it is SO cold. On another note, saw 8 deer in the backyard. They probably are looking for shelter too!!
I am alone this week (whooohoooo!! Yippee, YAY!!) so I had to run all the recycling out to the street (and of course this week we had a lot) and then truck the garbage out. Never have I moved so fast!! And now back out to go to work. I am not liking today at all!!
Hope Terry is finally well. ANd isn’t it the way, just like kids......they keep you up at all hours, then when you decide to stay up, they sleep. She will probably sleep all day!!
It is brutal out there. I was bundled from head to toe and made as quick work as possible in bringing wood in the house. It’s sitting in the wood rack CRACKING. What a strange sound to have in the house.
I betcha you moved fast this morning, Cyn. This is the coldest day we’ve had so far and I think you’re even colder. Add the wind and it’s just awful.
And yes, Terry is still asleep. And dreaming happy dreams by the sounds of it.
J—my observation is that when there is no food in the house, kids nearly perish from the mere thought of it. Fill the cupboards with food and then they can’t find anything they want to eat, anyway. Then it’s “Can we order a pizza?” Can’t win for losing.

Ok, first of all, what the heck are you doing up so early? Or have you not gone to bed yet lol? I have to actually go out in this crap today. E is taking pity on this still sick body and is going to pick me up later this afternoon so I can go to the store and buy food for my starving children. He did most of it for me over the weekend but I still have stuff to get, ugh. Why do kids need to eat?
