To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining, in the days of our children, the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed. ~Theodore Roosevelt

Every now and again, I apparently need to be reminded that Terry is a delicate little flower and that her plumbing isn’t designed for surprises. No siree. Those Milk Bones that I bought her for a treat turned on both of us and this morning the kitchen was a horror show when I came downstairs. And, unfortunately, the process is still on-going. That poor dog. Her insides are a wreck and, at this point, so are mine. It’s all I can do not to clap my hand over my mouth and run for the bathroom just thinking about it. I’ll leave it to your imagination what happens when I’m in the middle of mopping up after her. Long day.
