The good news is no, it’s not the flu. The less good news is that it developed rather quickly into strep throat. There was no denying all those polka dots on my throat yesterday morning so I’m full of antibiotics and sort of, almost, feel human today. Sort of.

Well, I don’t know if that is any better! EW I hate, hate the strep! Um I would say I will come over and baby you but, if I do and I get it for some godforsaken reason....... the doc will rip my tonsils out! I could get away with having it in CA but I won’t here. I have the doc that we had for years. I have been living in fear every time one of the kids gets a sore throat since we have been back lol.
Take ALL your meds like a good girl, stay warm, rest, and read a good book. And feel better!

Oh no....this is not good. See, I don’t spend time reading your blog for a few days and look what happens!! Hope by now you are beginning to feel better. Strep is no fun.....neither is the flu. In fact, none of it is. We need summer now--enough with the wind, the snow and the cold. And yes, I know, we have only had that for about two weeks, but I am done with it. Enough!!

is anyone else having any trouble being remembered on here? Or is it just me. I always have remember my personal info checked, but all of a sudden lately it does not. No biggie.......just wondering. Maybe it is my 7 year old computer. I knew it was getting old, and that it was time for another, but was shocked when I pulled the paperwork out today and realized I bought it in ‘07!

No one else has mentioned the ‘remember me’ feature being on the fritz, Cyn. I dunno, maybe it’s a cookie thing. Seems to work okay for me, though.
I’m ready for spring, too. Winter has been kind of a fizzle so far. I enjoyed the last snow storm, but the relentless cold is beginning to take its toll. I’m ready for spring. Although, if this year is like the last few, the extreme humidity and heat (and mosquitoes) will make short work of my enthusiasm.
