Have a safe journey to and from. Take some Vitamin C so you can fight your son’s germs!! Cause you don’t need to get sick. And enjoy the ride, weather is gorgeous today and tomorrow is supposed to be even better. My son is leaving to pick up my mom today to bring her here and even though it is only a 3 hour r/t ride, I am glad the weather has cooperated. Much less nerve wracking!!
Can you rent a GPS thingy?? Or why not rent a car with one in it for the day tomorrow??
3 hours each way r/t. Not 3 total which would be nice.
No, J, the Christmas tree isn’t up yet. The lad asked if I’d wait until he comes home. For about the first time since he was a little boy, he wants to help put it up and decorate it. The decision hasn’t been made yet whether to go with a real tree or a fake one, but the scent of pine in the house seems to be winning on points.
Cyn, I bought some of that orange juice with the immune defense claim and I’m swallowing a handful of vitamins every morning. Doing my best to fortify myself, although this might the same bug I had in August so I might already be immune to it. Hopefully.
I think I’ll be fine getting to PA without getting lost. It’s a pretty direct route and I tend to do better in the car when I’m alone. When someone is with me, that’s when distraction rules. As the lad said, once he gets in the car and we start talking, we may find ourselves in the midwest before either of us realizes we’re going the wrong way. Well, as long as the road signs say north or east, we’ll either hit Canada or the ocean before we get too lost.
Wishing your son and Mom a safe trip. I am VERY glad the weather is cooperating!
Next entry: A little mind rambling

Hey, you didn’t tell me if you got the tree up yet, or did you decide to wait until the lad gets home? Have a safe trip tomorrow!
