Cider Press Hill

Finished!

J came back over today. We spent some time shopping and then cleaned all my stuff out of the lad’s room. Another couple of trash bags filled and the rest boxed up and stuck in the attic. The major cleaning and sorting are now completed. I might paint a couple of walls, but that’s not even necessary until after Christmas. Between now and Christmas it’ll really just be a matter of regular vacuuming and swiping a dust rag around the place occasionally. Piles of papers are filed and books are all in one place. The only things on the floors are furniture. Table tops are clear and gleaming and well, it’s just fabulous. Thank you, J. So much!

Now I can start decorating for Christmas. Tomorrow the outside lights and greens go up and I’ll get a tree put up some time this coming week. Then some menu planning and a travel map for my trip to PA at the beginning of the next week to scoop up the lad.

This year I am approaching Christmas in a much more relaxed state. The house is ready two weeks before Christmas. My Christmas shopping is just about done, too. That’s almost unheard of around here at this point in the month. It’s the nicest feeling!
