Monitor differences

Last night I had to turn on my old upstairs computer to retrieve something off it. I took a gander at my recent photo uploads and images on the old monitor and thought, “Ugh!” Most of the images are about 6 shades darker than on my LCD screen. It appears that middle tones don’t show up on the LCD screen when I’m processing. For some reason, when I process images on the old CRT monitor, they translate well to the LCD screen. But the reverse is definitely not true. This is very disappointing.

Just thought I’d share. smile
