Ha! We don’t observe DST out here, but my stupid bedside clock insists on adjusting for it even though I’ve followed the instructions which clearly make note of the Hawaii exemption.
Thus, I awoke at what my clock said was 0530 yesterday and tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t. When I gave up and went out to the kitchen it was actually 0700 (thanks, oven, microwave and battery-powered wall clocks).
Identical behaviour/problems here. My atomics do the time dance on time and I’m just to darn lazy to set the other ones back. Past experience tells me that by Christmas I should have gotten tired of my various receiver and microwave clocks being an hour behind.
Did I say that daylight saving time was invented by the Nazis?
No?
Well, it must have been.
Ah heck, I went and set the bird clock to the right time a few weeks ago. Now I have to change it again or let the thing chirp an hour off for the next several months. That one is also a pain in the neck to set.
Volkher, I’ll probably adjust the microwave clock and the one near the television and the one that runs on weights attached to chains this week sometime. Aside from that...probably not. Generally, as long as the minute hand is accurate, I don’t really care whether the rest reflect daylight saving or standard time.
Linkmeister, now that you’ve reset your atomic clock, does it readjust itself for standard time everytime it updates itself? That would drive me batty.

See I told you the bird clock in the kitchen would chirp the right time sooner or later lol.
Hey, sooner looks funny. I can’t think of how else to pell it right now lol. I have been inhaling bleach since nine this morning though!
