Yes, I knew you’d be happy for me.
I may not go to the glass shop this weekend, anyway. I have some glass that I can use for a couple of smaller projects. I need to find a pattern for a larger one and I haven’t found one I really like that I feel capable of doing yet. And there are an awful lot of cutsie patterns available that I just don’t like. I’m not into flowery stuff or angel stuff of which there seems to be a predonderance.
The teacher suggested making my own patterns. If I have graph paper and a ruler, I can make just about whatever I want. I also bought a Frank Lloyd Wright font a couple of years ago that I can blow up and put together into some interesting patterns. It’s still on the old computer and I haven’t gotten around to extracting it yet. I’ve also been searching for some interesting quilt patterns. I think some quilt panels could turn out to be quite appealing. Come to think of it, there’s an Amish quilt font on the old computer, too.

Well you know I am just thrilled to death!
Oh, I don’t think that I will be able to make it to the glass shop this weekend. Some stuff has come up that I have to do :( Maybe next time!
