I hope you’re right, Linkmeister. He hasn’t shown up anywhere yet, but maybe he cleared out to save his skin. When pickings are slim, they will dine on each other, though. Just nature doing what nature does. But still.
gosh, I haven’t been here all week which tells you how busy work has been. And look what I have missed!! Aren’t spiders the species that mate and then she eats him? Or bites his head off or something like that? Oh nooooooooo and just when I was feeling a fondness for him myself!!

It may be that this one just drove out your little friend, rather than something worse. Or maybe he took off on his own for fear of the something worse.
