No rain

The wood has been delivered and it’s not raining out. Guess I’d better take advantage of it.

I’m done for the day. Not at breakneck speed or anything, but I still managed to stack about half the pile of wood. Now I am very tired and hungry and really wish that someone would cook me dinner. So I think I will go get some take-out, watch some tube, and put my feet up for a while.

Okay then. My face is cherry red and I’m drippin with with...um...dew. Takin’ a break.

Cassie, it’s not so bad, really. Kind of a form of meditation, I suppose. Stacking doesn’t require much thought so my mind can wander.

Trust me, J, there will be plenty left tomorrow.  Our problem will be figuring out where to stack it. The place where I usually stack the second woodpile is somewhat ‘occupied’ at the moment and I haven’t come up with a way to get rid of the hornets’ nest yet. They are a bit of a sticky wicket at the moment.
