Google searches

The search strings that bring visitors to my site sometimes baffle me. I’m not exactly sure what it is that they wanted or were searching for. Sometimes the search strings suggest looking for validation of an opinion, but others are a mystery. What was going on in their minds when they typed these words into Google?

• where to complain
• giant
• spotted mouse in my apt
• nicotiana won
• pretty word
• i spend $60 on gas every week
• who cares
• mudslinging narcissistic personality disorder (I have some ideas here...)

And yet they somehow landed at your site… I’ve noticed the same thing.  “places to skinnydip on public land” brings them to my benign little blog in droves…

Google has funny little algorithms that often combine posts to match the search string words. It’s kind of interesting to see how Google ‘thinks’.

Betcha there aren’t many places in this country where skinnydipping on public lands is permitted. I could name a couple in the Caribbean, though. Kind of a funny experience to be snorkling around and come up on a beach where you’re positively overdressed wearing your tiny little bathing suit. smile
